hi dear friends, any of you took the Evushield (Covid vaccination) for patients with suppressed immune system and experienced a few weeks later ugly skin wounds looking like an auto immune issue? thanks

Hi veranaish,

Evusheld is a pre-exposure prophylaxis not a COVID vaccination. Sorry to hear it’s left a skin wound which does sound more unusual. I’ve not had Evusheld because it’s not available in the U.K. but when I had an infusion of Sotrovimab at Christmas as a treatment for Covid, it left a dark patch which I’ve never had with any other injection point.

Dependent on how bad it is or how much it’s bothering you, mention it to your doctor.

I’ve just noticed that this skin issue is an ongoing problem for you so unlikely to have been caused by Evusheld but it’s probably exacerbated the problem in that area.

Good luck in getting it sorted.

I'm getting my two Evusheld shots tomorrow. I will repost if anything adverse develops.

Praying things go better for you and skin clears up quickly.

I had my Evushield about two weeks ago and still have irritated skin where the Band-Aids were from the shots. They are raised red lines almost like scabs.

Oh Chris,

I hope it clears soon.

I received Evusheld in April. I had absolutely zero side effects.

I had two different dosing's. First time I got the original 150 mg each. Had to do the follow up dosing of 150 mg when it was recommended about 4 weeks later. I am due for my next dose in September. No issues with skin reaction.
