Wait time for second booster after testing positive and starting Paxlovid.

I did a rapid test yesterday, testing positive. I started Paxlovid this morning, (after discussions with the Pharmacist who didn't think i was eligible, ) and have my booster scheduled in 12 days.

Do I need to reschedule my booster for a later date?

Thanks

Rick

Yes, you do. My haematologist said to wait 4 weeks at least. I know some reported 3 months. Last time I waited till I felt I was fully recovered, it took about 3 months.

Thank you.Yes.

My further investigation explained that by waiting the longer time for a booster showed an increase in immunity.

Best of luck to you….may you make some natural antibodies and then onto your booster when I is right. That will put you into the Fall a perfect time for a booster!

The virus is your booster. I'd not have it.
