I am an 82 years old male who was diagnosed with CLL Stage 0 10 years ago and luckily I'm still at that stage.
I have had 3 covid-19 vaccinations but am aware that my immunocompromised condition means that my protection may be minimal so I would like if possible to take advantage of AstraZeneca Evushield which has been developed in the United States and has now been approved for use in the EU.
I would like to find out whether there is any likelihood of its getting to Spain. Who would know?
In the meantime I am trying with a blood test to discover how much or how little immunity I have !
Thanks

The EMA updates this page daily ema.europa.eu/en/human-regu...15/03/2022: EMA’s CHMP started evaluating the marketing authorisation application for AstraZeneca's COVID-19 treatment Evusheld (tixagevimab / cilgavimab), following the start of its rolling review in October 2021
In the absence of Evushield in Spain : I am 87 in U.S. with stable CLL and took 3 Pfizer and as 4th the booster a Moderna. This combination was approved by my doctors.
I Roger, in France Evusheld is avaliable BUT with this limitation "Il est recommandé de ne pas administrer EVUSHELD®, association de tixagévimab et de cilgavimab chez les patients ayant au moins deux facteurs de risque cardiovasculaire (dyslipidémie, diabète, obésité, hypertension, tabagisme, sujet âgé). " recommandation not do deliver if you have two risks factors. You are allready ederly, the question have one of theses dyslipidemia, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, smoking. In this case your are not eligible to Evusheld (French décision). When Evusheld will be available in spain you may face such limitation. Bonne journée Herve
