I notice a post here from a person who has CLL who has decided not to take the vaccine. That’s a brave choice for someone who is immunodeficient. However that is their choice and I personably don’t believe anyone should be forced. But what impact does their choice have on a health services, maybe the doctors are already trying to keep them alive and not dying from what is a very dangerous Disease. So to potential show up in hospital with Covid, with a compromised immune system, and expect treatment?

Anti Vaccine or Personal Choice
Yep, they will expect and receive treatment, perhaps even taking resources that other patients could have benefited from, but the same situation is also true of drunks, speeding drivers and others who have a different view of their responsibilities to themselves and others.
I'm not being judgemental, we all make errors of judgement at times and occasionally they have the potential to be life threatening to others. However, if I can identify people who regularly behave like that I just keep well away!

In US, before Trump, everyone or their parents willingly submitted to required smallpox vaccines, then it was eradicated, then everyone did the same with polio before it too was eradicated. People were too responsible and sane to argue "it's my personal choice." ("Personal choice" people, quite ironically and sadly, generally support draconian abortion laws regulating other peoples' bodies in ways much more severe than requiring a vaccine).
Of course they should be treated.
Please no return to this tiresome subject.
That post was from a troll. No profile,no personal info,no disease history, first post, straight away in a confrontational tone. A St.Petersburg troll farm AI could not have written a better one. Not to be taken seriously.
I’m not so sure. I engaged with the guy over DM because I am intrigued by their thought process, and why someone with CLL would believe their own research over hundreds of experts. The guys seem to know his stuff…..I think he is real and had been persuaded by the rubbish posted on Facebook.
Well, if he is real and feels like he knows it all then he needs neither advice nor sympathy. People who already know it all are unable to learn anything new. That's a dangerous state of mind. Dangerous for him, specifically. I just don't understand why does a stranger feel like he can come to a party, vent his views loudly and expect anybody to listen. Would you take seriously someone you don't know, never heard of before, showing up in front of you starting out by telling you how wrong you are and that you should not expect him to change his views? I'd be like, wow, who are you again and why should I care anything about you and your views in the first place?
