I was just going to post seperately on here about Evushield and UK so your post is quite timely. I wrote to Astra Zenica here in UK this week to ask if it was their intention to seek approval of Evushield here in UK. This was there reply:

"Kindly note that AZD7442 is still under assessment with the Health Authorities, therefore we are unable to provide a timeline for its availability. The MHRA are still reviewing the data submitted by AstraZeneca, and this is the same data submitted to other regulators (including the US FDA).

Furthermore, the UK Government has not communicated to AstraZeneca any confirmed plans to access and rollout a pre-exposure prophylaxis (passive immunisation) in the UK."

So the UK government hasn't any plans yet. I guess we will have to wait and see if the MHRA approve it. I do think though, that we should make every effort to keep pressure on to get Evushield wherever we can e.g. MPs, opposition MPs, media, Blood Cancer UK etc. We are not seen as a priority and I believe we will just be forgotten unless we keep shouting.
