Hi, I don’t know where a foreign trip would take you, or what means of transport you would take, or for how long. But right now, treatment or no treatment, I choose not to travel. If I did catch Covid I wouldn’t know how to explain what I did to my consultant, or expect the services to treat me any faster than the rest. It’s not easy these days. Take care

Thanks for your reply. I live in Germany but have a holiday home in Spain and would drive . The problem is overnight stay in France to break the journey.

I think I know what I would do, but I can’t allow myself to write that down. Maybe ask your consultant or his nurse. And good luck whichever you choose

Hi Cazma, I live in the UK and have a holiday home in France, which I am currently visiting for the first time in over a year. We need an overnight stop too, and resolved this problem by hiring an Airbnb with a host who abides by the enhanced protocol for cleaning. We have the whole place to ourselves and it's cheaper than a hotel. We bring our own food to cook, so the risk seems manageable. Hope that helps!

Treatment with Oman? I have received treatment IN Oman. Nice country, but for the time being I only take trips by car. Hotels, public transport - no thanks.

Hi Cazma. I'm not in treatment but I've recently completed two weeks in France and Germany, staying in 4 hotels which I carefully checked in advance and were extremely careful with their hygiene. I felt safe in all four. Hope that helps. Good luck!
