MRD ACHIEVED

My face to face on Friday went amazingly well, after FCRas part of the flair trial, finished end of January BMB, CT, BLOODS, consultation confirmed MRD has been achieved, expected remission to be 3-5 years possibly longer, whilst I still have ongoing issues eg itchy rash and a squamous on my shoulder which is to be dealt with alongside a punch biopsy next week. These little set backs are not going to stop me enjoying what the weekend has to offer (couple of beers but not too giddy) still social distancing behind my front door as society can't tell me whether I am safe out there. I find this website very informative and will continue to be involved and good luck to everyone on this difficult and emotional journey (not just the patient) have a great weekend everyone. Well done. Time to get your life back. It can take up to a year for the normality of fitness to return. Please be extra careful with your health for the next year until bloods go back to normal.
