I was diagnosed with CLL and have been on Ibrutinib treatment for over 3 years, doing fairly well. My second shot of moderna vaccine was two months ago and I decided to check my inmunological response by antispike SARS COV 19 test, the result was 0.1 (no response).
Has there been any studies or trials of using a third dose of any mRNA vaccine or an other type of vaccine , if so what where there any results.

Study to enroll 60 participants previously vaccinated with mRNA-1273 in Phase 2, to evaluate booster vaccine candidates (mRNA-1273.351) against the B.1.351 variant first identified in South Africa
and a second mRNA that is being considered for a booster dose:
First Participants Dosed in Phase 1 Study Evaluating mRNA-1283, Moderna’s Next Generation COVID-19 Vaccine
mRNA-1283 is intended to be evaluated in futures studies for use as a booster dose for previously vaccinated or seropositive as well as in a primary series for seronegative individuals.
Interesting, thanks. It would be nice to see a vaccine booster trial in blood cancer patients (we would be excluded from these two). Not much in it for the drug companies though.
A couple of weeks ago the UK government was talking about giving the most vulnerable groups a third shot, maybe of an updated vaccine, in the autumn. I'll believe it when I see it.
