Ibrutinib back ache
Hi cartwheels Yes sacral area back ache is one issue along with rash, diarrhea, seborreic dermatitis, neuropathy and muscle soreness. The good news is like you I have found ways to cope. I also take Tylenol 1 hour before bed. Helps me get a good sleep. I read a per reviewed article on Tylenol and liver function. It states that the liver uses different metabolic pathways based on circadian rhythm. It found that the night cycle used a pathway that did not produce the enzyme responsible for liver damage. I use T/Gel by Neutrogena for seborreic dermatitis. It contains 1% coal tar as the active ingredient. Yuck but I use it 3x a week and bonus no skin rash. I haven’t used my prescription for rash since getting my scalp issues under control.
Yes my lumbar backache seems to be enhanced since Ibrutinib use but was present pre- medication as I have an L4-5 lumbar stenosis. Worse when lying so worst on waking.I blame it on heavy lifting during nursing days.Paracetamol (Tylenol) is also my go-to since we are not supposed to use Ibuprofen while on Ibrutinib.
Since I started Ibrutinib a little over a year ago I have experienced exactly what you describe. In the morning I feel the ache and stiffness the most and do exercises which help, but I’m never without at least a hint of the pain and any kind of physical activity makes it worse. I walk several miles a day and do strenuous yard work in spite of the discomfort—feel every muscle at night.
I’m interested in whether you think the cbd oil helps and if you have found a particular brand you find effective.
Yes CBD definitely helped I use 10% CBD from access around £28 a bottle once a day spray under the tounge all are good as long as you get full spectrum
