I was diagnosed with both CLL and ET in 2017. Looking for info on implications of having both. Still in “watch & wait” for my CLL and on hydroxyurea for the ET. (Was also diagnosed wth breast cancer at the same time.) Everything is stable at this point.

Welcome Lambo1!
I note you joined the Forum today - when the date is 4 3 21!
It would appear you have your "fair" share of medical challenge, good all is stable.
For those of us (me) for whom TLA's (Three (or 2) Letter Acronyms) are a challenge - please explain with ET is.
I hope you will find support here, answers to your questions and as I have - learn stuff too! Amongst us all most what is out there to be had we have had. Well, a lot anyway.
Stay safe,
Jig (UK)
ET is Essential Thrombothycemia, which is also a blood cancer classified as an MPN. Thanks for connecting.
What's MPN ?!
MPN stands for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms which is a classification of blood cancers. There are three main types of MPNs:
Polycythemia vera (PV)
Essential thrombocythemia (ET) - what I have along with CLL
Myelofibrosis (MF)
I too have both CLL and ET. When I asked my oncologist whether they were known to act synergistically he said the research wasn't in yet. This was a few years ago, so maybe more is known now. So far, I'm still on Watch and Wait, and taking Hydroxyurea for the ET. It's interesting to find someone else with the same diagnosis.
