I am new here , a reasonably fit 76year old woman went for a blood test and found to be diagnosed with CLL , . I would like to know how I Can help myself, if that is possible or is it a waiting period. Please help.

You are doing the right thing by seeking out to educate yourself about CLL. There are so many new treatments for CLL that educating yourself will be very important. I suggest going to the CLL Society Website as a starting point. This forum is also excellent- with many useful and informative links. My advice is to take a deep breath, educate yourself, and find a doctor who is an expert with CLL.
