All good except for minor side effects, so I worried for nothing.
Except stress is supposed to be good for the immune system(bbc1 last night)!!
I asked which Covid injection and was advised either and was told I probably wouldn't get a choice.
Also asked was there a way of checking immunity after the injection and the answer was yes but it was doubted if it would be offered. ( I'll keep asking)
My next question was will I need to still be very careful after the injection and the answer to some extent yes. You will still need to be careful.
Just thought I'd pass on what I was told.
Stay safe everyone.

It’s a pity though, that we’re unlikely to be tested after vaccinations, to find out how much immunity we’ve got. It may still happen, but I guess the extra work to the hard-pushed NHS is a big factor. Yet as you say – we can keep asking..
I didn’t hear all of that BBC program last night, but I’ve heard in the past that short term stress can be good for the immune system, but not the longterm chronic stress that many of us face.
Somehow I can sense the truth of that. The shortish adrenalin boost of a challenging walk in snow or on a mountain makes me feel good. The ongoing stress of health worries, too many decisions to make, and relationship tensions never feels good…
