Morning All .This is my first day for two years I have not had to take Ibrutanib and Venetoclax ,,I have been cured !🤞it last but we must think positive .It will (hopefully )be nice not to have the sicky days and no more cramp which has been pretty bad on times ,I wonder if my curls will go ! ? .Good luck to you all and I hope you all eventually get the results I have 😊

How long were you on them for and did you have any side effects ? Mine were minimal for the results I have had .Isn't it a relief!

Such a relief. I have to keep reminding myself as I just feel normal again and I don’t want to take it for granted. I felt a bit nauseous most mornings for about an hour, after I’d taken both of the lots of pills. I also had slight thinning of my hair but apart from that nothing really. I was on them for 2 years on the FLAIR trial in the Uk. Very lucky, as you say, especially for the amazing results.

Yes bone marrow and bloods ,how far along treatment are you ?

I am 8 months under acalabrutinib only, it is still unclear how long it may suppress lymph, so I looking that else options are available. However, FDA does not approve btk blocker (ibrutinib or acalabrutinib) +venetoclax for the type I have.

Congratulations!!! That's wonderful!! I will keep my fingers crossed too.

I was wondering if my curls will stay too.

I have not had my hair cut since last November so I have quite a head of curls that I am just starting to actually like. My hair is many lengths since ibrutinib broke some off and thyroid meds stopped working so thinned out quite a bit. Also upping my thyroid dose fried my hair. I now have been putting this cream on it. Hair filling in, thick and curly as a spring.
