This is a final call for Australians with CLL, their carers and family members to add their voice and register for the CLL PEEK study, conducted by the Centre for Community Driven Research ( CC-DR).

To register, email administration@cc-dr.org or go to cc-dr.org/peek/register/202...

Catherine Holliday, the CEO of CC-DR shares:-

"Thank you to everyone that has participated. We have had 70 people register so far and hope to reach our final goal of 80 people in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here is a special sneak preview of some early results for participants (note that these figures will likely change slightly once we have the final results).

Just over half of all participants so far are women

Most of the participants so far are aged 55 to 64

A third of all participants come from regional and remote locations

Clinical trials

Just over half of all participants so far have discussed clinical trials with their doctor

About 1 in 10 people have taken part in a clinical trial

About 9 in 10 people would take part in a clinical trial that is suitable for them

Information given most by healthcare professionals

Treatment options

Disease management

Information given least by healthcare professionals

Complementary therapies

Diet information

WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED AND THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH ONCE AGAIN FOR PARTICIPATING

Absolute last call for Australian participants to add their voice to this study. Catherine Holliday, the CEO of CC-DR has just replied to me that "It would be good to have 5 more people and also if family members haven't had a chance to have a chat with us, that would be great to have some more involved."

Thank you to all who have responded. Your shared experiences will do much to help all of us, not just Australians, live better with CLL.
