Is all hair lost on ibrutinib
Ibrutinb: Is all hair lost on ibrutinib - CLL Support
Ibrutinb
I can only speak personally by saying I lost no hair as a result of Ibrutinib.
best, rob
No CLL treatments cause complete loss of hair. The older chemo/chemoimmunotherapy treatments (BR and FCR) may cause temporary hair thinning. Interestingly it's fairly common for people on Ibrutinib to report that their hair develops a wave!

Hi.
My hair got a little thinner/finer for a month or two, but then went back to it's usual state. I have since developed curly/wavy hair, but only on one side of my head...go figure! Still, a bit of hair product, and a spell with the hair straighteners, sorts things out ok. And, if a bit of unruly hair is the worst of my problems whilst benefitting from taking Ibrutinib, I'm more than happy to put up with it!
I haven’t experienced any hair loss, but I have noticed that both my hair and nails grow at a slower rate than before. Has anyone else had the same experience?
After treatment (Rituximab & Methylprednisolone) for haemolysis I started on Ibrutinib in July, and now my hair is thinning a lot. I was hospitalised April/May for 4 weeks then twice afterwards I was in for 5 days for treatment.
Thicker and curly now.
I've had very thick, wavy hair for decades and it is much thinner now and it only began after I started Ibrutinib, I thought it may have been work stress but its much less now. I have to style my hair differently since so much of it is gone. Hope it ends soon!
Not at all. My hair got thicker and curly .
