Ibrutinib side effects

I am on Ibrutinib for 1.5 month now. I lost 17kg so far; is this considered a side effect of the treatment?

I gained 20 pounds Found out that many people gain weight on Ibrutinib for whatever reason. Symptoms of this drug differ widely from person to person.

In all seriousness, please talk to your doctor as this is dramatic weight loss if you have lost it in such a short time since being on Ibrutinib.

I lost 80 pounds in the first few months..and my doctor did not have any concerns, just said that it would not continue and he was right, having gained 25 back.

I lost weight on Ibrutinib, but I dealt with diarrhea almost the entire 6 weeks I was on the medicine. I lost about 8-10 pounds during that time, but I continued slowly losing weight even after I stopped the medicine. It didn't stop and reverse until I had been on Venetoclax about 2 months. Your weight loss is much more significant than mine, so I agree with Jm954 that you should discuss it with your doctor.

I gained some unitended weight after starting Imbruvica, and I can't get rid of it.

I lost weight so fast after starting Ibrutinib

Took a picture before and after and it was obvious. Lost some big lymph nodes pretty darn fast My big neck shrunk as well as all the rest of me
