A little bit optimistic news for people who prescribed to acalabrutinib (ibrutinib).

There are two recent publications:

2. Second that patients under acalabrutinib (ibrutinib) has a chance to overcome covid:

Thanks for posting those links- that is a great clue for further investigations and trials, to see if it is superior to remdesivir or dexamethasone for patients that are facing severe lung damage and ventilation.

Had my 3 month checkup with my CLL specialist last week. In general discussion, COVID 19 came up. He told me that if I was diagnosed with it, to up my Ibrutinib to 3 tablets a day ( I am currently only taking 1 due to side effects). As noted above, this is not based on a full fledged study, but experience with the drug and its effect on COVID 19.
