SHIELDING 2

Went out for a drive and a walk this morning, It was very good and felt liberating. Traffic was very light and although it was cold we managed to get out for a short walk, We took our masks, gloves and handwash. No problems. Now that I am over the apprehension I think we will be going out alot more. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me.

It’s like the first time you get into cold water ! Initially a toe in the water, but once you get in it’s very invigorating ! Glad you enjoyed.

Thank you.

Super. It’s so hard to go out with fears. But those first attempts will give you so much confidence that you’ll want a daily walk or drive.

Take care. Some people don’t bother to avoid. Assess the situation and dodge.

Weather is good next week, so enjoy new places.👍

Weather not too good today. We did manage a short walk, my wife and I and when we got home we both fell asleep in our chairs for 2 hours.

Hey Holly its Carl in South Florida. Really glad to hear that you got out for both a drive and a walk. It will be fine; just stay away from as many people as you can. I've been risking sitting in a restaurant with my wife, as long as the table is separated by at least two other tables; however, I wonder a bit about my judgement on that. The wait staff all have masks, as do the preparers in the kitchen etc, so I feel safe, but then I saw the reports that Florida has been having record high days in reported cases recently. I happen to be in South Florida, which has more cases than anywhere else in Florida, so maybe I should cut back on the restaurants for a while. In any case walking is really safe, as is driving.

Thanks for your remarks. Hope things don't get worse over were you are. I hear that a second spike is a very real possibility in some parts of America. We really enjoyed our drive and walk and are going out again after the weekend as too many people are out and about. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
