Have purple spots on my arm & thigh. Does anyone had anything like this on their body while on imbruvica?

Imbruvica/Ibrutinib and other BTK inhibitors influence platelet function, so skin blemishes (bruising, petechiae and so on) from capillary leaks are not uncommon, even with reasonable (but not necessarily in reference range) platelet counts. Mention it to your specialist and keep an eye on your platelet counts.

Yes, I have these spots all over and it’s only since I started Ibrutinib. If I scratch an itch I get lines and dots, and bug bites produce a purple halo around the bite. My hematologist said that the Ibrutinib causes immature platelets that don’t function as efficiently as normal ones, therefore increased bruising and bleeding. Also I’ve noticed that my skin has thinned, so more prone to easy cuts.
Yes, since I started Imbruvica in September 2018 I get petechiae. They come and go.
Grape seed extract is supposed to strengthen blood vessel walls. Taking it and think it has reduced the bleeding - but can't be certain it is the cause. Oncologist has no objection.
I've been taking Imbruvica for a year now and they appeared not long after I started. Sometimes they're quite big and purple sometimes small and red. I get them on my arms and my legs. Apart from being a bit unsightly they don't cause any other problems.
Hi
Yes I get them since starting Ibrutinib a year ago.The ones on my face bother me the most, they come and go though. I also get them on my legs.
I bruise easily and am always hurting myself. 😬🙉🤷♀️not a bad price to pay to feel relatively normal.
