Hello. I'm scheduled for full abdomen ultrasound this saturday. I felt a pain on my upper left abdomen right below the ribs. It comes and goes. This has been going on for 2 weeks already. I have random pain on my pelvis, stomach, head, neck, etc. I don't know whats happening. I'm only 30 years old but I've been feeling a lot of pains lately. Though bearable still uncomfortable. Should I be alarmed? Is it possible that I have a cancer?! My panic attack is getting worse these days because of this.

Hi AnxiousBabe,
I see that you have just joined us today and both from your username and post, you acknowledge your anxiety. We can't give you medical advice here, as that is best provided to you by your doctor, who has the training and experience, along with access to your medical history to know what further questions to ask, and what, if any further examinations and tests to do or arrange. What I can tell you is that you are rather unlikely to have the blood cancer (CLL) supported by this community. Your symptoms don't fit and the median age of diagnosis for CLL is 70! We have very few members with CLL aged 30 or younger.
Finally, DO NOT search on line to try and diagnose what is causing your symptoms. You will get a strongly biased viewpoint (based on what others more often read, not what is necessarily pertinent to you) and that will only worsen your anxiety. Medical information returned in searches can be inaccurate and out of date. Call your doctor. I think you'll find that there are far more likely explanations for your symptoms than cancer.

Hi neil. Thank you for responding to my post. I'm new to forums still so I don't really know where to post im just trying to see if there are others experiencing the same condition as mine. All my aches and pains just started since lockdown. I just hope that nothing serious will be detected on Saturday but since I already posted here I might as well just update so others may read it too and hopefully learn from it. And yes. Google is freaking me out!!
Using Google in this way is termed "Cyberchondria", which dictionary.com defines as "unfounded anxiety concerning the state of one's health brought on by visiting health and medical websites". (My emphasis). That said, you shouldn't ignore unexpected changes to your body and I hope your doctor can provide a telehealth consult if your symptoms don't improve.
I'm turning off replies to your post, as this community is a poor match for your health support. Select the 3×3 dots in the site menu (second from the left) and use the "Find a Community" search option to explore better matches. There are a few anxiety support communities that you may find helpful. You have plenty of company with others finding lock down causing heightened anxiety. This level of health uncertainty is unprecedented and we lack the social stimulus that distracts us from symptoms that otherwise would come and go without overly concerning us.
