Back to some kind of normal

Just been to afternoon tea at a cafe with my blood cancer group- well, the nine of us who felt comfortable enough to venture out. Starting to feel like we are getting back to the new normal here in NZ. Had weekend at sister’s new holiday home in Golden Bay. Loved the liberating drive ‘over the hill’ and the amazing autumn colours are all the more vibrant after two months of ‘lockdown’ Hopefully it is something the rest of the world will be able to experience in the not too distant future.

Wonderful. I went to a garden center today to buy flowers for my yard. I never thought something so small would have so much meaning.

Stay safe and enjoy some freedom.
