Never be without this !!!
I can't believe how people hoarded on it in the beginning🤣. Leaving none for the next person.
Australia led the world with this unproven way of protecting us against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus:

Or perhaps it was just panic buying. One Australian bought about $A10,000 (Australian dollars or roughly the same in Canadian or New Zealand dollars or roughly 5,000 $US, British pounds or Euros) of toilet paper and hand wash soap and got stuck with many years of supplies when the supermarket refused to refund him for returning it.
This week while walking to my blood test, I was startled by the sound of a garage door closing and when I looked in that direction, I noticed a stockpile of toilet paper in the garage. Australia is self sufficient in toilet paper production, but the manufacturers only caught up with the excessive demand last week after switching to working 3 shifts per day when it became scarce. One supermarket chain was selling it for over $A per roll, a massive approximately ten fold mark-up.

I am pretty sure toilet paper was reclassified as a low-calorie food group which is good fried, slow roasted, boiled or raw, but due to the fire hazard, not broiled. One benefit of a pure toilet paper diet is that there is no need to waste it by having to use it for its intended purpose.
If you're one of those people like me who has a bowel reaction to Ibrutinib we may not be stockpiling but we might feel like we should be ! 😁
Hello debdetermine58
My wife and I were never in danger of running out of toilet paper. My wife buys three 45 roll boxes at a time. So we have about 280 rolls left after sharing with those without. We also spent time searching for toilet paper for those less fortunate. It was ridicules how hoarding started around the world. We are blessed.
I always thought they were kidding about the TP shortage. It is and has been available at both of the stores where we shop. Disinfecting wipes on the other hand, never any in stock.
You still cannot find toilet paper in the “open market” where I live. We can find it if we are at the Costco at 8:00 am when the doors open on the day the truck arrives. It is gone within 20 minutes. We “seniors” get the early bird TP. The hubs went last week and scored a 30 roll pack of Charmin. We kept 1 of the 6 packs and gave the rest to our daughter and her family as they can’t shop until 9:00. All of the stores are out within 20 minutes of opening their doors. Don’t understand why we are still having the shortage almost 8 weeks in!

My daughter who lives in France and keen on doing all she can to protect the planet, has been buying toilet paper and other paper products from Who gives a Crap for a couple of years now. She has given us some samples and encouraged us to subscribe. It comes in boxes of 48 paper wrapped rolls. I have recently subscribed as my husband is shielding and I suffer from IBS, six weeks later our first delivery arrived on Thursday. Next one due in sixteen weeks, can be more frequent if required.
Hope you find this helpful
