I’m 57 and recently diagnosed with CLL/SLL. I’ve been on 420 mg Imbruvica daily for 8 months with the typical side effects of fatigue, stiff joints, leg cramps, mouth sores and face sores. These side effects I can easily live with, except the face sores. Has anyone found anything that helps minimize this side effect.
This is my first time posting on this site, but have been reviewing as much information as I can get from everyone else’s experiences. You all have given me as much peace of mind possible during this time. Thank you all!!

Are the face sores in the form of a rash? Itchy? Or single sores?
I’ve been on Ibrutinib for three months and have been slathering coconut oil on my face prior to washing with Dove soap. This has worked to keep my complexion smooth, but I did have a single sore on my chin, not itchy, more like acne, though I’m 66 and never had bad skin, even when younger. I think it may have been caused by the Ibrutinib, but can’t be sure. It healed after a week.
For me they are individual sores, but more than one. I did found a link that explained different skin issues caused from ibrutinib and how she managed them. I have always exfoliated, that is going to stop after reading the article.
I have had amazing results with NuLight CBD cream.. Coconut oil is used in the CBD oil so maybe the combination is what works amazingly on any type of sores 9 months ibrutinib Dx in 2000
