I’d almost given up hope of getting a slot for home delivery but I looked at 5.30 am today (walking the dog at the crack of dawn!) and both Tesco and Sainsburys had slots for the next few days but nothing beyond that. They seem to be releasing a new day each day... in the early hours it seems. Hope this is useful!

Supermarket deliveries uk
Sainsbury's only allowing those they had recognised as vulnerable
I was awake all night repeatedly trying to check out an Asda order whereas payment system crashing every time, gave up after my slot was lost!
Tesco basket I'd had for days awaiting a slot it produced a slot a week away that I snapped up so will await to see what arrives.
Last order most items were missing

We can only hope that the situation will improve soon as supermarkets are given access to the ‘vulnerable’ list and councils get their act together & volunteer groups are organised ... it will take time. Availability of food & other items should improve now that restrictions on quantities are in place. Have you tried contacting your local councillor to find out about support groups where you live? Ours have been extremely helpful. Good luck.
Anyone still struggling to get deliveries? Morrisons seems to be helping in a different way to some of the others. They have opened up ordinary online slots available to everyone without being on the vulnerable list. And if you can't get that or indeed can't get any other delivery they have a new telephone service tailored for elderly and vulnerable people you can try: my.morrisons.com/doorstep-d... and they also have a "food box" which you can order if you dont mind too much what you get. morrisons.com/food-boxes/
