Did you count leap years ?

As Jackie said it will fly by. Sadly the older I get time seems to vanish like sand through my fingers 🤔

So you didn’t develop 2 heads with the first pills? I kept waiting for something to happen.

Don’t worry about filling your time, just make friends with the phlebotomist because you’ll be seeing a lot of them from now on! 😄

Onwards with confidence!

It was slightly anticlimatic - after all the fuss to get to this point 😂😂

Sorry - missed previous info about this trial! Where is it taking place and criteria for entry?

The criteria for this trial (which I believe stops recruiting in a few months), is that the patient must be previously untreated. As I understand you’ve previously had FCR, you unfortunately wouldn’t seem to be eligible I’m afraid.

Are you requiring treatment again?

Newdawn

i didn't understand this?. i know your in a uk trial but is that the time they keep track of you or do you take both drugs the entire time?

It’s an overall 6 yr trial IVN but how long we take the meds is dependent on success. Minimum of 2 yrs usually however. Monitoring continues and actually lasts for our lifetime.

Think your very lucky and good luck with the trial nearly 3 years on mono ibrutinib for me and at the start I thought anything from 3/ 5 years will be good I'm doing great and feel confident so I'm going for 5

All the best

Feeling very fortunate to be on this arm myself. My wife is thrilled. To be honest, I was so ready for treatment - anything was a great move forward.
