I wonder what is known about soy beans (edamame) in the diet, if one has CLL and takes Imbruvica ? (Also in general the pro and con in relation to soy)

I haven’t heard of soy bean problems /‘d CLL. I would think that Tofu and some soy products are a decent source of protein and iron.

I am vegan and have had a lot of soy while on Imbruvica. No problem. Be well,

Our alternative doctor wasn’t worried about soy unless someone has breast cancer. When reading ingredients soy is in everything so I was relieved to hear that

we didn’t need to worry.

Hi Vog, I am on imbruvica (5+ years) and eat soy on an average of 4-5 times a week and have never had more than occasional gas as the only problem. I think it is a great protein source and an alternative to meat.
