After BR treatment in March this year from which I had a severe adverse reaction requiring 2 months in Hospital ,on life support etc. Kidney failure . Despite the poor reaction on BR I have slowly improved ALC prior to treatment March was 84 . Now 0.95. WBC 7.1. Neuts 5.08.However the BR treatment wrecked my kidneys efgr went down to 26. I was taken off chlosterol meds. LIPDL 145 TO try to improve kidney function in August efgr now 37 But triglycerides up to 12.9.? Unheard of by my GP by does not want me to go back on Lipidyl .

I had high cholesterol and triglycerides for years, despite having cut out just about everything possible in my diet. My PC was also stumped. It looked like living on water alone might be the only thing that would help. My new nephrologist told me that it wasn’t my fault - that it had to do with my kidney issues. I wanted to jump up and kiss him, but suspect that that would have totally freaked him out. Do you have a nephrologist on your team? If so, ask him/her whether your kidneys could be the cause.

Hi MslockYourPosts

Thanks for your reply. My issue only arose since being taken off Lipidl in August tosee if my kidney function improved. - which it has slowly. Efgr now 37. I did have dialsyis in April when efgr dropped to 4 after adverse reaction to BR . Only one treatment- CLL doc reluctant to recommence. He used the C word - cured but the triglicides are worsening. Like you I follow a simple diet but need to get more strict obiviously. My Doc has now changed meds to Zeklen 10.10 .

Will let you know if it works.

Thnks
