New to Imbruvica

I’ve been taking Imbruvica for only

35 days and I’ve had no side affects.

Good for you, Turbinator! Have you seen health improvement in whatever CLL symptoms or blood counts were out of whack? I also have had no problem with ibrutinib (except for one thing in beginning that may or may not have been related).

Planetary, since I’ve been on Imbruvica my white blood cell count went up to 158. The Hemotoligist told me the WBC could go up to 200 then the WBC would go down. I feel ok with no side effects. Problems with arthritis and Sciatica is what slows me.

That’s fantastic! I’ve been on ibrutinib for one week and had only very mild side effects - mainly tiredness - My lymph nodes which were very enlarged in my neck and underarm have vertically disappeared!

More of us should post how little or no side effects can be experienced for some people as well as those who have significant side effect, to help alleviate concerns for those starting treatment.

Good news Turbinator. I’ve been on Ibrutinib since January 2017 and feel great. My only negative side effect is very curly hair. My gigantic lymph nodes dissipated immediately. My white count never shot up, but continued dropping. I feel blessed that it has given me a life again. I’m very active and continue to enjoy life daily. Wishing you the same good results. Sally
