Good morning or whatever time it is where you are. It is a beautiful morning here 🇨🇦

Finally, my appointment with a new doctor is happening on Sept. 11th. I have questions prepared, but any help would be appreciated.

Try AMP. Cancer.org they have questions. You might want to ask if he thinks you have a fast cll type progresses quickly or slow watch and wait. GBY

Thank you. This appointment is for second opinion. I already had a treatment with Chlorambucil/Obinutuzumab, with partial response.

The doctor I have now is not great explaining things and doesn’t like questions.

I am hoping this will be different and don’t want to miss any important questions to ask

What questions are you asking? Do you want to ask about side effects? Prognosis? How treatments are decided upon? What future treatments may make sense for you? What do your specific test results such as markers mean about your condition? Do any of your blood tests show abnormalities and what do those mean?

The questions I imagined should be based on what you're worried about and what you feel frustrated that you don't understand yet. I sometimes come up with more questions than I want to ask and pair it down. sometimes otherwise I come up with a list of questions then it makes me realize I have more specific ones than what I have on the list.

It seems like the really big question you your case would be what additional treatments can you try that would get to Total remission... Or would it be better to take the partial remission and do a wait-and-watch with it?

Good luck I hope the appointment goes wonderfully.
