Ibrutinib
Hello Porter!
The time is not important as long as you take it at the same time every day ( whatever is convenient for u) With a full glass of water. it’s also important to drink lots of water during imbruvica treatment or any treatments to flush out the nasty cells.
Good luck
I agree with Lola, whatever time works best for you. I take mine in the morning rather than at night because I drink a lot of water with it and don't want to wake up all night having to pee.
I take mine in the evening to try to sleep through it however the biggest drawback is frequent trips to the loo. Didn't really think of this before I started taking them!

Depends on what side effect you might have, sometimes ...for example if you have diarrhea, then switching from morning to after dinner often helps.
I found that 4pm was the best for me...

I'd suggest asking your doctor if he/she has a preference. Technically, time of day and with/without food doesn't matter. But I'm in a clinical trial and the protocol requires taking it on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after eating) so I find it easier to take immediately upon waking up, an hour before I eat breakfast. But if you're not in a trial and your doctor doesn't have a preference, then it doesn't matter. As long as you take it at the same time every day with lots of water.
I take mine early morning, this has really suited me from the start. My husband started taking his in the morning but suffered a lot of light-headedness so switched to night time, seems to be better, still a few hiccups but I’m sure he’ll get there.
6:30 am each morning for me...with an app that reminds me. If I tried to take it later in the day, I can't imagine how inconsistent my Imbruvica schedule would be.
Welcome Porter01
All good and wide answers already given so can only reiterate, find a regular time that suits your life style and stick to it. For me it is 6.30am, I am an early bird, I say my morning prayers, read my emails and plan the day before rest of madhouse wakes up. I will not have eaten so that covers the 2 hour 'fast' before medication as well. lots of water, I have a two litre jug of flavoured water I fill each day to ensure I have taken the required fluid. So far so good!

Porter01. I take mine in the morning for 4 1/2 yrs.
I Take it 7 p.m
I take mine right before bed because it produces a bit of a feeling of stomach fullness and I prefer to sleep through it. Lots of water, though, and a couple of trips to the bathroom during the night to pee.
I’ve taken mine in the evening for the past 2 years with no problems. Good luck. Sally
I take mine in the morning with something to eat. There are quite a few studies done which suggest it is much more effective with food than after fasting. Also I drink 2 glasses of water with it. iBrutinib needs a lot of liquid as dehydration is a known side effect. But whatever works for you as long as it is consistent.
I am in a trial, my CLL specialist had me switch from morning to taking the capsules before going to bed and it made ALL the difference in less gastro side effects.

I am on a trial as well. When I was only taking Ibrutinib, I took it at night, right after dinner. When they added the Venetoclax, they switched us to morning, just before breakfast. ( I can eat immediately after taking the drugs). I have not noticed a difference in anything. I do drink a lot of water, though, and drinking a lot of it at night does interfere with sleep. I am supposed to take it within an hour window of the same time.

Mid afternoon as you get tired for 3 to 6 hours after taking the meds.
I am also on a trial and I take mine at midday, having not eaten for 2 hours before and 1/2 after taking. Find good time to take and get very minor side affects
