Omg I have tried it all for my paper thin nails that snag and break to the quick- but this little thing has made a huge difference! This are super comfy silicon, can be cut in length to any size and allow your finger tips to heal yet you can go about your business. Highly recommend if you are having nail issues - by Pnrskter on amazon.

I used to work for a couple of local newspapers where we wore something similar to save our fingers. What we used were slightly textured so easier to pick up tiny pieces of paper type to insert into a sentence. I still have a drawer full of them. Easy to wear and protected against more than paper cuts because we used exacto-knives to cut type and photos, and used the knives to position into place. On weekends I wore them 13 hours a day because we had multiple deadlines. I can vouch for the protectiveness of silicon rubber.

Great recommendation!
