Can anyone explain what it means when "m spike not detected". Thank you!

It means you do not have Multiple Myeloma... a spike or high reading of the M immnoglobulin protein is a signature for that disease a cancer of the plasma cells

It can also refer to M for monoclonal protein and doesn't always have to be IgM. It can also be just part of an immunoglobulin such as a light chain but it is always monoclonal.

Lots of B cell lymphomas (and CLL is also considered a lymphoma) and myelomas produce a monoclonal protein but it only happens rarely in CLL.
