Hello...Tbodtockwriter I live in Spring Hill and go to Moffitt in Tampa.

If you are looking to meet with others, a CLL Society sponsored support group meets at Moffitt Cancer Center. "CLL Society Support Group, Central Florida (meet once per month on Saturdays 10:30 AM)", Trustees Board Room @ Moffitt Cancer Center Main Campus.

I live in Tampa area! I have been playing a lot of Pickleball in my Retirement community so I have been missing the meetings last few months. I am told the exercise is good for my CLL.

"They" say it is the fastest growing sport in America today. But it is certainly popular at retirement communities. See this link for game played at my location.....

If you want to find how many other members here are nearby- here was my suggestion to a similar request yesterday:

Try this feature: healthunlocked.com/people-n...

If you go to your Home page (click the house icon in the far upper left of the screen). You can find a blue bar that says "Meet others"

Or by clicking on your icon circle in the upper right of your screen the pull down menu will have an option "Find people near..."

Hopefully you will be able to attend at least a couple of the CLL Support group Meetings at Moffit! Live support groups, even if you can't attend all of the time, are totally different from on line groups. Both have an important place, but there is just something about sitting in a room with real, live fellow patients.
