Imbruvica (ibrutinib) which is not chemotherapy, does a super job of shrinking nodes.
Some get temporary relief from hot Castor oil packs... lots of recipes on the internet for them...

I’ve tried most things to no avail (Ibrutinib isn’t an option at the moment I’m afraid Chris).
I use heat packs for relief but it doesn’t actually shrink the nodes.
My haemo said he has a solution to it....chemo! 😱

yes you are right.thats why i am trying to find something else for my nodes as my other markers are ok at the time except the high wbc.152k
I’m not sure of your age or if it’d be something you consider but I read somewhere jumping on a trampoline is good for the lymphatic system but I’ve got know idea of it would reduce nodes or have any impact
Where are your swollen nodes situated Neoklis and what kind of size?
Are you sure there’s no infection at work here? Presumably your medics are simply suggesting chemo as the solution but you don’t think there are other significant enough clinical indicators to warrant starting treatment?

yes i am 42 know.i am w and w from 2009.almost 9 years.litle infection in neck but most of other time they are also big.biggest 4cm know
i am trying to stay away from chemo as far as i can.
If all other clinical factors are ok, you’ll be able to avoid treatment as long as the nodes don’t start pressing on vital organs or nerves and causing risks. Aesthetically, in terms of how bad they can begin to look can be a factor (and that’s becoming an issue for me).
It’s rare now to hear of radiation treatment to shrink nodes and it’s certainly not a preferred route.
Just be guided by your medics and make sure increasing lymphadenopathy (swollen nodes) isn’t a sign that your CLL is ramping up and needing you to consider treatment. Is your spleen swollen incidentally?
Best wishes,

I was miserable with enlarged lymph nodes in my neck putting pressure in my inner ears causing constant dizziness, blurred vision and headaches, and my enlarged spleen was crowding out my stomach reducing my appetite causing me to rapidly lose weight. I was slated for BR chemo but at the last minute was put on ibrutinib and Gazyva, a monoclonal antibody infusion. After a powerful initial response to the first two treatments (which meant it was working), I now feel better than I've felt in decades with all my symptoms vastly reduced. And it's only been 4 weeks. Talk to your doctor about ibrutinib and Gazyva.
What treatment options are available to you where you are? Is your doctor recommending treatment now? Are there other indications that treatment should be considered - low hemoglobin or platelets or a doubling of your absolute lymphocyte count (part of the white blood cell) within 6 months after reaching 30,000?
I take Imbruvica 420mg. Worked like a charm on all my bulky nodes. I have been on it 5&1/2 yrs.
Sorry to tell you I don't think there is. Before I started on Imbruvica I tried everything I could think of and everything I read online to try to shrink especially the large lymph node on the right side of my neck, and nothing worked. The Imbruvica worked very well and quickly too!
thanks all of you good people
