I think my body Thermostat is broken

Back in November I was diagnosed with CLL and AIHA. At that time I was suffering from night sweats. The prescription of Prednisone stopped that until it was ramped back down. Now, if I drink something hot or take a hot shower I break out into a full body sweat. I am beginning to worry about summer and how my body will react to warmer weather.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Those are EXACTLY the words I used to my onc/hemo. No words of wisdom but once I started Ibrutinib the problem went away.

I have that experience as well. Just started Ibrutinib yesterday so will be curious to see if it goes away.

Keep us posted! The first time I took the pills I posted to this site that I was sitting there waiting for the earth to shift on its axis!

Well, I can’t wait to hear if Ibrutinib fixes it for others too.

I told my hemo this too and he just looks at me. I told my wife I will tell him every time I see him!!!

Please take care that the steroid didn’t mask the symptoms of an underlying infection
