Wanting to hear from people of my mums age who have had treatment

Hi Dazt, welcome and could you perhaps give a little more information in order for people to share and advise. Sorry to hear your mum has CLL. Has she now been told that treatment is needed or imminent and what kind of treatment has been suggested? How is she in terms of her general health and is she amenable to the idea of starting treatment? What country are you from because that’s an important consideration in terms of options available.

Mum in good health in london uk waiting blood tests and outcome of meeting re her MRI would say my mum not amenable to treatment

I’d advise that your mum obtains the very best specialist CLL advice that she can Dazt because there may be non treatment, conservative therapies she could have dependent on the severity of her CLL. At 81, she may wish to avoid the rigours of treatment if it can be avoided.

Being in London, she’s well placed for expert advice.
