My dad is in the week two with Venetoclax and he feels a falling sensation in the chest which appears now and then without any clear pattern. I wonder if anyone experienced something similar. The doctors says it can be anhelation, but it does not quite feel that way.

Falling sensation
I've not heard of anything like that before. Is he panting or short of breath because he's scared or worried?
Thanks for the reply. It goes dark before his eyes every time it happens, but he is not worried yet, at least he does not admit it. He has some abnormalities in the blood:
- Low platelet count (greater than before the treatment though)
- High white blood cell count
- Low level of neutrophils
- High lymphocyte count
- High monocyte count
I don't think any of his blood abnormalities are causing it. I was asking if he was scared or worried in case he was having a panic attack as the short breaths can cause funny feelings, including as though he were about to faint.
You should talk to your doctor about it again and be persistent if s/he doesn't take it seriously.
Best wishes
