I was diagnosed with pneumonia (ppc) after CLL diagnosis (2006). Recovered from that ok then started FCR chemotherapy. Haven't had any asthmatic symptoms. None smoker since 2006.
Hi Jsk,
I used to have asthma for many years - needed a preventative inhaler for it twice a day. Strange to say, over the years since I've had CLL, the asthma has got better and I no longer need any inhalers. (However, it's just possible that I was reacting to our dogs before, as the last of our beloved dogs died soon after my CLL diagnosis).
However, when I got a nasty chest infection earlier this year, the asthma returned and I had to go back on inhalers for a while.
What did the national paper say about leukaemia and asthma?

I also would like to know what the article said. I developed allergy asthma after moving to New Mexico in 1997. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2013.
I have asthma after a 4 year diagnoses with Cll. It is debilitating.
I developed asthma symptoms when I had a bad cold a few times. This started before I was diagnosed. It has not been a problem since I was diagnosed. I continue to get new inhalers just in case. Since Covid barged into our lives, I haven’t had a cold lol.
