CLL My Way program mapping a path to better support for Australians

'“The chronic nature of CLL can be very challenging so personalised support is vital when it comes to staying on track with treatment and taking steps to a healthier life,” said Barbie Hartigan, Leukaemia Foundation Queensland Support Services Manager.

“We’re taking a holistic approach with CLL My Way and will also be promoting the benefits of regular exercise, a healthy diet, stress reduction and good sleep.”

CLL My Way will provide motivational counselling and one-on-one support to help people with CLL overcome the challenges of long-term and changing treatments, including emerging oral therapies that require specialised support to ensure medication is taken as prescribed.'
