Feeling Stressed? Practice the 4-7-8 Breath

Stress is a normal part of everyday life. In fact, in some situations, stress can be life saving, steering us away from hazards, or boosting our focus when we must confront danger head-on. But for some of us, stress has escaped its usual bounds. We feel irritable and out of sorts, too often, for too long.

Combining a Harvard education and a lifetime of practicing natural and preventive medicine, Andrew Weil, M.D., is a world-renowned leader and pioneer in the field of integrative medicine (a healing oriented approach to health care which encompasses body, mind, and spirit).

Be a good sport and watch this easy to follow eight minutes video from Dr. Weil. I suggest doing it alone and if possible outdoor. Nature and specially near a waterfall is the best.
