Reads like the 'Little Shop of Horrors', but most chemoimmunotherapy used in CLL is less harsh... you don't even loose your hair...
Certainly some patients experience problems, but the majority of CLL patients from my experience have few, if any problems.
Chemotherapy is not a monolith it is many drugs, all with different side effects...as varied as the patients that require it...
Hopefully the age of chemotherapy is drawing to a close in CLL, but I think it will be around for a few more years...
FCR is still the gold standard... it will be some time before head to head trials topple its reign...
