CLL w/newly diagnosed lung cancer with mets to... - CLL Support
CLL w/newly diagnosed lung cancer with mets to bone. Anybody familiar?
Hi Lissa, I'm afraid I'm not going to be any real help to you but I was concerned that your post had gone unanswered at a time when you must feel totally devastated. It's been very slow posting on here the last few days probably due to good weather and the World Cup.
You may have already sought support in relation to the lung cancer but if not, can I suggest the Macmillan online community which appears to have a large supportive group who may be able to advise and support you.

I just want to send you my sincere best wishes and can only begin to imagine what this double cancer whammy means to you. I hope anyone on here who shares your dx can come on and help as it must be a complex set of health issues to treat. I hope you have found really good responsive physicians to treat you. Please let us know how things go and I know we all wish you well x
Warm regards,
Newdawn
Hi Lissa
Like Newdawn I'm afraid I cannot help with your query other than to say I hope Newdawns advice to contact Macmillan has proved helpful. One feels inadequate when a call for help/advice goes unaswered, surely only because no one else on this site is in a position to advise, despite the other cancers we are all more prone to.
Hopefully my responding will highlight your question again, and meanwhile please know that there are people here who wish you well and are thinking of you.

I've just been diagnosed with the same, plus liver and rib lesions, so wondered what happened next?
Oh my gosh. I’m so sorry to read this. I pray for strength for you.
Thank you. I am okay, with a supportive family and friends so very lucky. I spent the weekend in hospital with pain and blood thinning meds (I have blood clots in my lungs) but am home now, waiting to find out on Wednesday what happens next. This seems an unusual case. Hey ho.
