8 weeks apart is the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control study, CDC in the U.S.

Thank you so much, Clicanada, I had to ask my oncologist today If I should get more and he said yes. Never even mentioned it before today!!! My GP was the one who told me about it, but she was unsure about the order of the shots. I do not get much info from my oncologist, so this site has been a wonderful help. I have learned so much from you all...one certainly must be proactive!!!

Hi

Cllcanada sent me this link last year. I found it really useful. I printed it out and we took it with us to the GP. we also took it on the day of vaccination to make doubly sure we were getting them the right way round (as to get them the wrong way round means waiting a year for 2nd vaccine).

Hi all, at a CLLSA meeting at Southampton hospital last year, Andrew Duncombe recommeded that we make sure our vaccinations were up to date and that we should have the conjugate Prevnar13 jab with a follow up of the PPSV23 which as Chris said should be after 8 weeks.

I had these last year but I think I am too far down the road for them to be effective although I was untreated at the time but 3+ years from diagnosis and about to start a trial/study.

I wish you success with your jabs,

Best Wishes
