Hi congratulations on the birth of your son. We have a daughter with BA who is 12years old and leading a very active life with her own liver. Its hard in the early days cos all you can think about is BA but know thats normal. Our daughter was jaundiced for 3 months after her Kasai and waiting for each blood test to see if it had come down was so hard. We are so lucky in this country that we have specialist centres for BA we are under (BCH). The team will help and ring them if you have concerns. All my babies had yellow poo before being weaned. Call for advice if the stools are clay colour(grey). CLDf used to do a stool colour chart which I found really useful i 'm not sure if its still available on line.
Any questions however small just post here or ask your medical team.
Hope and hugs X
