Hey all, my daughter has ba shes had the op ect, I was just wondering can you claim dla for children with ba and if so what's the rate of pay ect.

Hi

It depends how much extra help she needs. You cant get it just because of the diagnosis but you may get it if you are up regularly in the night because of itching or if she needs any sort of significant extra help that you wouldn't need to give a child without a medical problem e.g. daily physio etc.

It doesn't cost to make a claim and in my experience they always refuse it first time so you would need to ask for it to be looked at again.
