hi, i am 45 had abypass at 40 and a stroke in jan, i hate hospitals and try not to go in if i can, i have been having pains in the left hand
I hate hospitals but it's often a case of the sooner you go, the less time you spend there. So I'd go to a walk-in clinic if the pains are like pins and needles or do whatever the NHS.uk symptom checker tells me, or maybe make an urgent appointment.
Just remember Hospitals and their professional staff, Drs and Nurses are there to treat and help you. Put your fears aside and get your symptoms checked out as soon as possible. It would be foolish to ignore what you are experiencing - the technology and expertise the cardiologists have is outstanding. Good luck Mike
I agree with DakCB-UK - GO GO GO. What is the use of the surgeon giving you a bypass if you ignore any recent warning signs? If you go to the same hospital you had your op in they will have your medical notes and can get things going through the system quicker. All the best
