Statin issue

Hi everyone this is my first post to this group, and l have a rather longwinded question about statins I have been on them approx 5 years 40 mils one at night, however recently my script stopped for almost a week lm presumably think untill I have my bloods done, anyway they have been done now but was caught up with the holidays so am still waiting for the doctor to reinstate this pill lm a little concerned about the time because all kinds of things seem to have taken place like sleeping pattern disturbed waking up especially very early plus is it dangerous for the heart since that's why I was put on this medication in the first place thank you in advance.
