Not sure, I go to a lipid specialist and he couldn’t give me no answers. Left me sad, hopeless and depressed because I feel like nothing is working

So maybe the next step is testing your thyroid. Sadly correct thyroid testing is rarely done in the NHS - so patients are missed. Are you in a position to have Private Testing ?

My first blood test after a month of Repatha my total cholesterol went up, my LDL went up 39 points and my HDL went down, Doctor thinks it was the test, so I am going to have another one. Since I stopped Crestor my joint pain has gone away again, but maybe I just feel better with a higher cholesterol. The same thing has happened when I stopped statins in past. Not sure about Repatha though.
