Headaches and strokes

Two years ago someone kept getting morning headaches. He then had a TIA. Then this year he started getting headaches again. Then he got a stroke. The headaches always went when he awoke and walked around. He does not have sleep apnea and neither does he grind his teeth.

Apart from obvious things such as go to sleep earlier, turn off all TV an hour before bed, deliberately relax before sleeping, hot shower etc - any ideas please?
