I am 69 years old. I have been on statin drugs for about 18 years. 6 months ago I took control of my health and started going to the gym 5 days a week.
I used every type of veggies and fruits and a small amount of meat daily. the trick is to see all the colors of the rainbow on your plate.
I am not vegetarian but I also reduce my salt and sugar intake.
yesterday my cholesterol is now 147 FROM 224. Thank God.
I am now investigating CoQ10
Just sharing my story.

Congratulations! I did the same 2 1/2 years ago following open heart surgery. Dietary and lifestyle modification are the best approach to good health. I take many vitamins and supplements including CoQ10 which is necessary for your muscles.
You also need the B vitamins along with Vitamin C, D, E, and curcumin.
Keep up the good work.
P.S. I exercise every day, 7 days per week. One day cardio, next day resistance training, plus i ensure I get 15,000 steps per day.
